Coaching
Many notice that Nic's teaching is more about creative coaching. While there is still explicit teaching of the necessary skills to become a more competent and confident artist, she teaches so much more. She'll help you find your own voice, subjects and style, and you'll experience more joy in the process of producing your work. Many people struggle with anxiety around their creative pursuits. Because of this, there is so much more than mastering of technical skills to become a great artist. But in order to start that journey you may also need to recognise that we are all already worthy artists.

Artistic Playtime
All mediums - All Levels
The format of these classes is a bit of a social/studio fest. Nic is available to teach you how to explore your chosen subjects and mediums ever more effectively. Students and Nic work on their own projects. But, students can also get demos form Nic each week in any given medium (though it tends to be either drawing, watercolour or acrylics unless you request the week before). The classes explore finding and expressing your own voice. In particular, Nic will teach you about composition, tone, and colour mixing so that you can effectively express yourself. The idea is to help you along your own artistic journeys. Most of us also value dedicating time for our own creativity in a supportive atmosphere and free from other commitments or distractions. The classes are very friendly, there is also a great deal of socialising and mutual support among the members. There's a particular emphasis on ensuring that the classes are a fun and safe space for exploring your creativity. There is also a enphasis on the psychological game in order to get out of our own way and produce authentic, meaningful work.
On average, terms are 10 weeks and cost $300 (pro-rata). To secure a place, phone Nic on 0426 614 363. Payments can be made using bank transfer / cash / cheque.
Nic also periodically runs beginners classes in: Watercolours, Drawing, Oils, Acrylics, and Photoshop.
Although she no longer teaches there, Nic would also like to acknowledge the two wonderful years she had at Dromana Community House... Big call out to Claddgha and Kerrie in particular - Thanks guys!
